David Steenson is a Jersey Advocate and one of the founding partners of Steenson Nicholls.

David qualified as an English Barrister and practised in London at 3 Paper Buildings before moving to Jersey in 2000.

David was admitted as a Jersey Advocate in 2004 and was a partner of a global offshore law firm from 2005 to 2014, heading up its Jersey Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice before leaving the firm to establish his own Jersey law firm, Steenson’s.

With over 25 years of experience in private practice, David is a leading Litigation and Dispute Resolution practitioner appearing in numerous high profile and significant cases.

David specialises in complex financial litigation including contentious trust and commercial disputes.

David is also a well-known criminal lawyer and was appointed as a Crown Advocate in 2015.
