The types of work we undertake includes advising and assisting in connection with:

  • Responding to “no-consent” informal freezes

We also advise on corporate governance and risk management issues and regularly represent clients in connection with the JFSC’s Decision Making Process.

Notable Cases

Our lawyers were extensively involved in the long-running litigation between the JFSC and the AP Black group of companies and have represented numerous local trust companies, directors and principal persons who have been the subject of regulatory investigation or enforcement action.

David and Paul also previously represented the JFSC in landmark regulatory litigation concerning three Eastern European Property Funds.

More recently David and Nicholas successfully represented a local trust company in criminal proceedings brought by HM Attorney General for allegedly failing to report potential money laundering.
